Mobile App Tech Lead (React Native – Retail E-commerce)
Hybrid, Onsite in Dallas, TX
Rate: $80 - 90/hr 
W2 Hourly: $70/hr to $79/hr

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Tech Lead with strong expertise in React Native to lead the design, development, and delivery of our retail e-commerce mobile applications. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on coding experience, and the ability to guide teams while collaborating closely with product, backend, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of mobile applications using React Native.
  • Architect scalable, high-performance mobile solutions for retail e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate robust APIs.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability.
  • Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.
  • Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party services such as payments, analytics, and customer engagement tools.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
  • Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with React Native and mobile app development (iOS & Android).
  • Proven experience in retail e-commerce applications (cart, checkout, payments, order management, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with backend systems and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Experience in mentoring developers and driving technical excellence.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
