The Marketing Analytics Strategist will orchestrate cross-disciplinary analytics efforts in support of client measurement priorities. The Strategist will work directly with clients to understand business questions and data needs. The analyst will be responsible for developing technical analytics solutions against the business needs, and driving those solutions forward.

Knowledge of digital measurement, digital marketing, personalization, CDPs, user experience, analytics, and a strong focus on project management are needed to be successful. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics skills and a broad understanding of marketing analytics and digital analytics will be required for the role.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partnering with clients to understand their business and measurement needs, and guiding them on how to best use their data.
  • Documenting reporting requirements via measurement plans.
  • Determining KPIs to support marketing needs; and ensure analytics are leveraged effectively in support of data-driven decision-making.
  • Developing new Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics Workspaces in support of business questions.
  • Conducting analysis, identifying key insights, and formulating data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Leading client relationships and providing cross-functional project management for all client deliverables.
  • Building roadmaps of marketing analytics priorities based on observed gaps and identified needs.
  • Producing client-facing documentation on analytics solutions.
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); optimize key metrics across the campaign lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.


What We Are Looking For

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with digital marketing data working with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, AdWords, CRM, CDP. 
  • 2-3 years of consulting or client management experience.
  • Skilled in interpreting business measurement/reporting needs.
  • Understanding of Marketing KPIs and optimization levers.
  • Intermediate Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in translating insights into business and marketing optimization recommendations.
  • Understanding of Experimentation, CRO, and Personalization.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or a degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline


Additional Information

  • Employment type: Long-term full-time role.
  • Salary: $85,000 - $120,000. 
  • Location: Prefer candidates located in Kansas City. Occasionally visiting the offices in Minneapolis or Kansas City might be required.
  • If remote, preferred locations include: Minneapolis, Richmond, Des Moines, Dallas, or Atlanta for occasional team events
  • Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
