About Us
Concord isn't your typical consulting firm; we are an execution company with a passion for making things happen. Our mission is to help clients enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and revolutionize their product offerings through seamless integration, optimization, and activation of technology and data.

We are purpose-built, merging the industry’s top specialty companies to amplify our Innovation Capabilities in analytics & AI, data management & engineering, UX and digital experience, and technical platform integration, automation & security engineering.

About the Role
Concord is seeking a UX Lead / UX Manager to support a large-scale, consumer-facing retail platform engagement. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on owning the UX roadmap for a major brand within a complex, multi-brand ecosystem.

This role is not an individual contributor-only position. We are looking for someone who can lead UX strategy, manage and prioritize a UX backlog, support and unblock designers, and partner closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure UX work is aligned to organizational goals and delivered effectively within Agile teams.

As a consultancy, Concord values collaboration, clarity, and trust. You will work closely with cross-functional Concord teams and client stakeholders, reporting into UX leadership and supporting high-level UX vision while translating it into actionable, prioritized work for designers.

What You’d Do
UX Leadership & Strategy:
  • Own and manage the UX roadmap and backlog for a designated brand within a multi-brand environment.
  • Translate organizational and product roadmaps into a clear, prioritized UX backlog with well-defined stories.
  • Ensure UX work is aligned with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor UX designers to ensure sprint commitments are met and quality remains high.
  • Support designers throughout sprint execution by providing context, clarifying requirements, and removing blockers.
  • Conduct design reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing feedback sessions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and other internal teams to gather context and requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between UX designers and stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and momentum.
  • Confidently communicate UX priorities, tradeoffs, and decisions to leadership and delivery teams.
Research, Designe and Optimization:
  • Periodically jump into Figma to support designers directly when needed (concepts, flows, refinements).
  • Ensure consistency with existing design systems while evolving patterns as needed.
  • Leverage UX research and A/B testing to inform design decisions and validate outcomes.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user insights to continuously improve experiences.

What We’re Looking For
  • 6–10 years of UX/Product Design experience, with demonstrated experience in a UX Lead, UX Manager, or Strategy-focused role.
  • Proven experience managing UX backlogs, prioritization, and roadmaps in Agile environments. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience mentoring and leading designers within sprint-based teams.
  • Strong background in e-commerce UX (B2C and B2B), with case studies to demonstrate impact.
  • Deep familiarity with Figma and modern web and mobile design systems.
  • Experience with UX research methods and A/B testing.
  • Strong ability to synthesize insights and translate them into actionable design direction.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to present UX strategy, priorities, and design rationale to both designers and non-design stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership while executing tactically with delivery teams.
  • Advanced to Bilingual English proficiency (C1 or C2 level).

Additional Information
  • Duration: 6-12 months contract. The possibility of renewal depends on performance and business needs.
  • Compensation: Hourly pay in USD as a contrator.
  • Targeted Start: immediately.
  • Location: Remote, Latin America. Preferred locations include Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.
  • Time Zone: Must be able to work in US Central Time.
  • Equipment: Must be able to provide own laptop.
