About the Role
We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer with strong experience in the retail industry to join our data and analytics team to support a key retail account. This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining robust data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Talend, and Databricks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing using Azure Data Factory, Talend, and Databricks.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to integrate data from various retail systems (POS, inventory, CRM, etc.).
- Support and maintain existing data workflows while driving improvements in performance and scalability.
- Participate in data platform modernization initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across integration layers
- Document workflows, data mappings, and architecture decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with data engineers, architects, and business analysts in an Agile environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, ETL/ELT development, or data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Strong experience with Talend; familiarity with Boomi or experience in similar iPaaS migrations is a plus.
- Prior experience working in retail environments or with retail data sources (POS, merchandising, supply chain, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and cloud data architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Additional Information
- Location: prefer onsite at Dallas, but open to remote.
- Employment type: Contract (W2 hourly or Corp-to-corp)
- Rate: $65 - $70/hr
- Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
