About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our digital marketing team and help elevate our customer engagement strategies through personalized, data-driven email and SMS campaigns. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and optimizing promotional and triggered communications using SFMC tools like Email Studio, MobileConnect, and Automation Studio.

You’ll develop dynamic content using AMPscript and SSJS, create responsive email templates with HTML/CSS, and configure automated journeys that align with campaign goals. Your expertise in personalization, data management, and deliverability best practices will be key to driving measurable results across large-scale B2C marketing programs.

This is a hands-on technical role with close collaboration across marketing, CRM, and data teams. If you're passionate about marketing automation and have experience in high-volume consumer campaigns, especially in retail or beauty, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact.

This position is remote for Peru, but open to LATAM.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and QA promotional and triggered emails using modular templates.
  • Implement personalization using AMPscript and Einstein Recommendations.
  • Configure and monitor SMS sends via MobileConnect.
  • Develop and maintain automations (data imports, filter activities, SQL queries).
  • Collaborate with campaign managers to execute journey logic.

Core Skills and Experience

  • 2–4 years hands-on SFMC development experience
  • Prior experience with enterprise-scale B2C email/SMS programs
  • Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, CTIA, and deliverability best practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, MobileConnect, Automation Studio)
  • AMPscript, SSJS, and dynamic content scripting
  • HTML/CSS for responsive email development
  • Journey Builder configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • MobileConnect: SMS template setup, keyword/short code management, opt-in/opt-out handling
  • Advanced English level (B2 or higher) and previous experience collaborating with global teams across different geos and time zones.​
Preferred
  • Experience with Retail or Beauty industry campaigns
  • Knowledge of Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and multi-BU configurations
  • Certifications: SFMC Email Specialist, SFMC Developer


Additional Information

  • Location: Peru (Full-time employment or contract option) or Latin America (only contract).
  • Targeted start date: 20th of June 2025.
  • Duration: long-term, ongoing engagement. 
  • Requirement: must be able to work with your personal laptop.
