About the Role

We’re supporting a global technology organization dedicated to helping consumers, educators, and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges. The Principal Product Manager owns the end‑to‑end product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the Academy’s learning platforms and learner experiences. This is a senior‑level role with full accountability for defining problems, prioritizing solutions, and driving measurable learner and business outcomes.

This role operates at the intersection of learning platforms, lifecycle engagement, and marketing technology. You will partner closely with engineering, data, design, curriculum, marketing, and operations teams to deliver scalable, data‑driven learning experiences that support expert readiness, engagement, conversion, and retention.

What You Will Be Doing

Product Strategy & Vision:
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for learning platforms and experiences, including LMS and supporting systems.
  • Define clear product outcomes aligned to expert readiness, engagement, conversion, and long‑term performance.
  • Translate learner and business needs into prioritized product requirements with measurable success metrics.
  • Define end‑state experiences that balance learner impact, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
Product Delivery & Execution:
  • Drive end‑to‑end product delivery, from discovery and ideation through launch, iteration, and scale.
  • Lead cross‑functional execution across engineering, data, design, curriculum, and operations teams.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs to ensure reliable, scalable delivery.
  • Maintain strong product rigor through backlogs, documentation, launch readiness, and post‑launch evaluation.
Platform, Technology & Martech Ownership:
  • Partner directly with engineering and data teams to define requirements and prioritize platform enhancements.
  • Own and evolve the learning technology ecosystem, including LMS, credentials, analytics, and lifecycle / marketing automation integrations.
  • Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, privacy‑compliant, and resilient as business needs evolve.
  • Evaluate and apply emerging technologies where they deliver clear learner or business value.
Lifecycle, Engagement & Growth:
  • Own the learner lifecycle experience across discovery, onboarding, engagement, completion, and retention.
  • Drive scaled learner communication strategies using marketing automation and lifecycle engagement tools.
  • Use experimentation and data to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and program effectiveness.
Data‑Driven Product Management:
  • Define and track metrics across the learner journey (enrollment, engagement, completion, proficiency, downstream performance impact).
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform prioritization and product decisions.
  • Communicate insights, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Cross‑Functional Leadership:
  • Serve as a trusted product leader across engineering, data, marketing, curriculum, operations, and talent‑related stakeholders.
  • Influence without authority through clarity of vision, strong reasoning, and outcome‑focused storytelling.
  • Ensure product investments align with priorities and broader business strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:
  • Significant experience as a Product Manager owning complex platforms or digital products end‑to‑end.
  • Proven ability to define vision, manage roadmaps and backlogs, and drive execution through delivery.
  • Experience partnering directly with engineering teams on systems with multiple integrations and technical dependencies.
  • Comfort operating in Agile/iterative development environments.
  • Demonstrated data‑driven decision making in fast‑paced, ambiguous contexts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level storytelling.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5–7+ years in product management roles.
  • Experience with learning platforms (LMS), large‑scale enablement, or expert‑facing products.
