Project Manager - Azure Cloud & Salesforce
Employment Type: 6-12 months contract with possibility of extension.
Compensation: $50 - $60/hr W-2.

About The Role
Results-driven Project Manager (PM) to lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning Microsoft Azure, Salesforce & Data Bricks. This leader will own planning through value realization—balancing enterprise architecture guardrails, security/compliance, and organizational change management to deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging in cross functional discussions, IT strategy, managing technical teams on delivery, and driving disciplined PMO practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of Azure and Salesforce projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality, benefits realization).
- Establish project governance, cadence, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and stakeholder communication plans.
- Drive business case development, OKRs/KPIs, and roadmap alignment to enterprise strategy.
- Champion Agile/Lean practices (Scrum, Kanban) while integrating with stage-gate or hybrid models as needed.
- Liaison with Product Team and IT delivery team to deliver tangible IT outcomes, with clear deliverables, SLAs, and acceptance criteria.
- Functional awareness of Azure fundamentals & Salesforce Administration must have.
- Functional awareness of CRM & Order to Cash lifecycle is must have.
- Lead & manage cloud based custom product /migration initiatives
- Coordinate SSO, API development, governance (Azure Policy), and Customer Onboarding (portals).
- Functional understanding of production defects, incidents SLA vs enhancements definition and able to drive closure with Support and Project teams.
- Work with IT SME & Release team on CI/CD, deployment planning & environment strategy (dev/test/prod).
- Deliver multi-cloud Salesforce projects (Sales, Marketing) with best-practice release management.
- Govern backlog, prioritization, and quality (user stories, UAT, regression suites) across admins, developers, and partners.
- Manage projects from IT delivery standpoint, create project plan.
- Work in a global delivery model with offshore based development team.
- Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps; facilitate executive steering and cross-functional alignment.
- Build transparent status reporting—milestones, delivery status reporting, scheduling calls, defects reporting, risks, decisions, and benefits realization.
- Lead discussions with product team on scope, requirements, training, change management, UAT planning and production deployment and user onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA/PCI/GLBA as applicable).
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of progressive IT project/program management with 3–5+ years leading Azure and Salesforce initiatives of enterprise scale.
- Proven delivery of multi-workstream programs ($1M+ budgets) with hybrid Agile/Waterfall governance.
- Strong understanding of Azure (governance, identity, networking, security) and Salesforce (multi-org/sandbox strategy, release management, data & security model).
- Demonstrated experience with systems integration, data migration, and API-led architectures.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and executive communication skills; comfortable presenting to C suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- PMP and/or PMI ACP, Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Scrum certification is a must.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect/DevOps (e.g., AZ 104, AZ 305, AZ 400) is a plus
- Salesforce: Administrator is a plus
- Experience with Terraform/Bicep, GitHub/ADO, Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow, Power BI.
- Background in data & analytics programs (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is a plus.
- Prior experience in regulated industries (life sciences, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing) beneficial.
- Project tools: Azure DevOps and/or Jira/Confluence, MS Project/Smartsheet, PowerPoint/Power BI.
- DevOps: GitHub/ADO, CI/CD pipelines, infra-as-code (Terraform/Bicep).
- Salesforce: DevOps Center, branching strategy, automated testing, data masking for lower environments.
