We are looking for an accomplished Senior Analytics Developer to join our Analytics Development team. As part of this team, you will enable the collection of high-quality, actionable data for our world-class clients. You will utilize modern, best-in-class methods for instrumenting, configuring and using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and others. While technical expertise is important, communication skills are also key as you work closely with both client and internal teams on a daily basis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Understand client measurement/design requirements and translate these business requirements into written data collection implementation guides, tracking plans, etc.
  • Provide best-practice consulting services with our client technical teams to install, configure, and use web analytics tools, tag management systems, A/B testing tools, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Develop, customize, qa, and troubleshoot data collection code in complex environments with consistent use of tag management systems, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Identify and resolve data collection issues and gaps.
  • Maintain established data collection audit standards and lead audits to provide our clients with a guide that fully describes existing data quality and steps for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement analytics tracking code needed for ongoing reporting and analysis activities.
  • Project manage multiple client requests and project activities at any one time.
  • Lead client conversations, including recurring status meetings, ad hoc discussions, and ongoing digital communications (IM, email).

What We Are Looking For

(1) Experience with Tag Management Systems:

  • Required: Google Tag Manager (GTM / client and server-side), Adobe Launch / Tags, and familiarity with implementing various martech/adtech pixels
  • Nice to Have: Adobe Event Forwarding, Tealium iQ and Piwik

(2) Analytics Platforms:

  • Required: Google Analytics (UA and GA4)
  • Nice to Have: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Piwik

(3) Analytics and Martech Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP / 360), Analytics, GTM, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)

(4) Consent Management: Understanding of concepts, practices, and use cases and experience with platforms like OneTrust.

(5) Programming Languages: Experience with JavaScript. Experience with Python is a plus.

(6) Experience in troubleshooting, QA+Validation, CAPI / Enhanced Conversions (EC), and with strategy implementation (documentation, measurement planning, implementing guidelines, taxonomy, campaign tracking, and dashboard and report creation)

(7) Previous experience in an agency or digital consulting company.

  • Communication skills (written, verbal, multi-platform/channel).
  • Previous consulting experience and demonstrated excellence.
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse workload that may span multiple clients at once.
  • Ability to lead and mentor more junior team members.

Additional Information

  • Employment type: Long-term full-time role.
  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000.
  • Location: Remote. United States only.
  • Interview process: (1) Introductory call, (2) interview with the hiring manager, and (3) panel interview with the Analytics hiring team.
  • Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
