Cybersecurity Customer Trust & Assurance Contractor
Duration: 6-12 months with possibility of renewal depending on business needs and performance.
Eligible Locations: Remote — Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Chile.

Overview
We are seeking a cybersecurity professional to support security, privacy, and compliance assurance activities within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This role plays a key part in communicating the organization’s security posture to internal and external stakeholders, helping build trust and confidence in its controls and practices.
The ideal candidate combines a solid foundation in cybersecurity and governance concepts with the ability to clearly translate technical information into concise, business-friendly language.

What You Will Be Doing
- Respond to security, privacy, and compliance inquiries, including questionnaires and due diligence requests from external parties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, legal, engineering, compliance) to gather, validate, and consolidate accurate responses.
- Maintain and continuously improve standardized response materials and knowledge repositories to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, structured, and audience-appropriate communications.
- Support assurance-related initiatives such as audits, certifications, and internal process improvements.
- Track requests, manage timelines, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of responses.
- Contribute to improving overall response processes and documentation practices.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background:
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, risk, or related technical fields.
- Experience supporting externally driven requests (e.g., questionnaires, due diligence, or similar processes).
- Strong understanding of core security principles (e.g., identity and access management, encryption, risk management, security frameworks).
- Experience with industry-standard frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience in cloud-based or technology-driven environments.
- Exposure to audit processes, certifications, or compliance programs.
- Experience using workflow, ticketing, or knowledge management tools.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
