Job Summary
Concord is looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester with strong expertise in web automation using Cypress. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and quality metrics are maintained
  • Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web automation
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with test frameworks and tools (Mocha, Chai, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in API testing is a plus (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with performance or security testing
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools
