Core Responsibilities
  • Storefront Development: Develop and enhance responsive front-end features, including Product Detail Pages (PDP), Product Listing Pages (PLP), cart, and checkout, using ISML, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
  • SFRA/SiteGenesis Frameworks: Implement reusable templates and frontend components using SFCC’s best practices, specifically SiteGenesis or the modern SFRA framework.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Convert wireframes and design files (Figma/Adobe XD) into pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive layouts.
  • Third-Party Integration: Integrate third-party scripts, services, and analytics tags (e.g., tag managers, payment services) into the storefront.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize site performance, including page load times, image optimization, and code efficiency to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Collaboration & Process: Work within an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews, and using version control systems like Git. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]


Required Technical Skills
  • Languages: Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS/SCSS.
  • SFCC Frameworks: Deep experience with SFCC SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and SiteGenesis.
  • Templating: Proficiency in ISML (Internet Store Markup Language).
  • Frontend Libraries: Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (jQuery is heavily used in traditional SFCC, while React is used for PWA Kit).
  • APIs & Data: Familiarity with OCAPI (Open Commerce API) and SCAPI (Salesforce Commerce API).
  • Methodologies: Knowledge of CSS BEM methodology and responsive design techniques.


Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience: Generally 5+ years in front-end development, with at least 3 years specialized in SFCC.
  • Certification: Certified SFCC Developer (B2C Commerce) is highly preferred.
  • Projects: Proven experience in full-cycle e-commerce implementations (B2C/B2B)
