Overview

We are seeking skilled Integration Engineers with expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or PL/SQL. These engineers will support enterprise integration initiatives, ensuring seamless data flow across business systems and applications. The ideal candidates are hands-on problem solvers who can operate independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed Agile team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end integration requirements with a primary focus on your specialized area (OIC / EDI / PL/SQL).
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Integration Architect to deliver integration solutions, resolve support issues, and implement new functionality.
• Develop, test, and deploy integration components based on defined design patterns and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to other team members related to your area of specialization (OIC / EDI / PL/SQL).
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, operational guides, and support documentation as required.
• Participate in daily Scrum activities, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in collaboration with other technical teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process and system enhancements.
• Ensure code quality, adherence to development standards, and compliance with security and performance guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in integration development and support roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on ownership and accountability.
• Effective communication and documentation skills to collaborate with global teams.
• Ability to work independently under the direction of the Integration Architect and Scrum Master.

Role-Specific Skills

Integration Engineer (OIC Focus)

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) components such as Connections, Integrations, Lookups, and Schedules.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Adapters, and Orchestration flows.
• Experience integrating with ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, or other SaaS systems.
• Familiarity with OIC monitoring, error handling, and security configuration.

Integration Engineer (EDI Focus)

• Experience with EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, or XML-based formats.
• Proficiency with B2B gateways, partner configurations, and mapping/transformation tools.
• Understanding of EDI message lifecycle, trading partner setup, and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with integration middleware supporting EDI workflows (e.g., OIC B2B, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.), especially EDI 810 transaction.

Integration Engineer (PL/SQL Focus)

• Strong command of Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with database-driven integrations, data migration, and batch processing.
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and error handling.
• Familiarity with integration between on-premise databases and cloud systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of integration security concepts (OAuth, certificates, encryption).
• Certification in OIC, Oracle Cloud, or EDI technologies is a plus.
