About the Role

The Cloud & Infrastructure Practice Leader is responsible for building, scaling, and leading the firm’s cloud and infrastructure services business. This role combines technical leadership, commercial growth, solution development, and delivery oversight to drive revenue, margin, and market relevance. 

The Practice Leader defines the strategy for cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, and operational services while working closely with sales, alliances, and delivery leaders to expand client relationships and win new business. This role is accountable for practice P&L performance, talent development, solution innovation, and hyperscaler alignment. 

Key Responsibilities

Practice Strategy & Growth: 
  • Define and execute the Cloud & Infrastructure practice strategy aligned with company growth objectives. 
  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities in areas such as:  
    • Cloud migration and modernization 
    • Hybrid and multi-cloud architectures 
    • Infrastructure transformation 
    • Platform engineering 
    • Cloud operations and FinOps 
  • Build differentiated service offerings and industry solutions. 
  • Support new logo acquisition and account expansion through solution leadership and client engagement. 

Revenue & P&L Ownership: 
  • Own practice-level revenue, pipeline growth, and profitability. 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop pipeline and close strategic deals. 
  • Participate in major pursuits, solution shaping, and executive client discussions. 
  • Ensure pricing discipline and margin optimization. 

Hyperscaler & Partner Alignment:
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with hyperscalers such as:  
    • AWS 
    • Microsoft Azure 
    • Google Cloud 
  • Drive co-sell motions and joint go-to-market programs. 
  • Align practice capabilities with partner programs and certifications. 

Solution Development & Innovation: 
  • Define the practice’s service portfolio and accelerators. 
  • Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and delivery methodologies. 
  • Ensure solutions align with market trends such as:  
    • AI-enabled infrastructure 
    • Cloud-native architectures 
    • DevOps and platform engineering 
    • Automation and infrastructure as code. 

Delivery Excellence: 
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across cloud and infrastructure engagements. 
  • Establish best practices for architecture, governance, and operational performance. 
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction and referenceability. 

Talent & Capability Development: 
  • Recruit, develop, and retain cloud and infrastructure architects and engineers. 
  • Build a high-performance team with strong technical depth. 
  • Establish certification programs and career paths aligned with hyperscaler ecosystems. 

Key Performance Metrics: 
  • Success in this role will be measured through: 
  • Practice revenue growth

  • Gross margin and delivery efficiency

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in cloud platforms and infrastructure transformation in technology services or consulting companies. 
  • Proven experience building and scaling a technology practice. 
  • Demonstrated ability to support large enterprise deals. 
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures and enterprise IT environments 
  • Experience working with major cloud providers. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with large enterprise clients. 
  • Background in IT services, consulting, or systems integration firms. 
  • Expertise in areas such as:  
    • Cloud migration 
    • Infrastructure modernization 
    • Hybrid cloud 
    • DevOps and platform engineering 
    • Managed services 
  • Established relationships within hyperscaler ecosystems

Additional Information
  • Employment type: full-time, permanent employment. 
  • Salary: $250,000 - $350,000.
  • Work Location: Remote. Only in the United States. 
  • Travel: Occasional travel will be required to visit the HQ, clients, or events. 
  • Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
