About the Role
We’re looking for a Mobile App Test Automation Lead to lead our retail client's quality assurance efforts. In this role, you’ll guide a team of testers, implement robust automation frameworks, and ensure our clients launch high-quality digital experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor the QA team across unit, UI/UX, defect, system, and integration testing.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Appium.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, business analysts, and PMs to ensure top-tier product quality.
- Own the test planning and execution process for new features and updates.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, report, and manage defects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate testing across vendor applications.
- Provide QA sign-off prior to deployment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of QA experience with at least 5+ years in mobile automation using Appium.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with eCommerce mobile apps, including testing of payment gateways, product catalogs, and user flows.
- Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git.
- Experience with cloud-based device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.

Additional Information
- Location: prefer Denton, TX, but open to remote in the US.
- Employment time: contract
- Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Rate: $70 - $80/hr.
