We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Developer based in Peru to support a high-impact digital project for a leading retail client in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Web Components and familiarity with React, along with a foundational understanding of data layers and web analytics implementation. This is a contract opportunity with flexible working hours and part-time project management support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using Web Components standards (e.g., Lit, Stencil, Vanilla JS).

  • Support integration and updates within an existing React-based architecture.

  • Collaborate with the team to implement and test data layer changes for analytics and tracking purposes.

  • Maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical input as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front-end web development using modern JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Web Components.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.js.

  • Familiarity with the concept of data layers for web analytics (e.g., Google Tag Manager, event tracking), or willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous team environment.
  • Advanced English skills (B2 or higher). 


Preferred Skills

  • ​​​​Experience with e-commerce platforms, ideally BigCommerce
  • Understanding of agile development and staff augmentation models
  • ​​​​​​​Prior experience collaborating with U.S.-based clients or cross-functional teams

Additional Infomation
  • Location: Latin America. Must be able to work on Central time. 
  • Targeted start date: June 2025.
  • Duration: 6 month contract with possibility of renewal depending on performance and business needs. 
  • Requirement: must be able to work with your personal laptop
