About The Role
We are looking for a data-savvy, insights-driven Decision Scientist to join our growing marketing and analytics team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to our marketing, growth, and executive client teams, leveraging data to drive critical business decisions, optimize campaign performance, and uncover opportunities for sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for storytelling with data. You’ll work across a range of marketing channels, customer segments, and lifecycle stages to generate insights, build predictive models, and influence strategy. You will support clients through descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive stages.

Knowledge of digital measurement, digital marketing, personalization, CDPs, user experience, analytics, and a strong focus on project management is needed to be successful. A broad understanding of marketing analytics and SQL or Python will be required for the role.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Marketing Performance Analytics: Analyze and report on performance across digital and offline marketing channels, uncovering drivers of ROI and opportunities to improve.
  • Marketing Attribution Strategy: Support clients in their marketing attribution journeys from enterprise marketing attribution models to marketing mix modeling.
  • Experimentation & Causal Inference: Design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments to understand the true impact of marketing efforts.
  • Customer Segmentation & LTV: Build and maintain customer segmentation and lifetime value (LTV) models to guide acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Data Strategy & Collaboration: Work crossfunctionally with data engineering, product analytics, and marketing ops to ensure data quality, model implementation, and consistent metric definitions.
  • Storytelling & Communication: Translate complex findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience with marketing data.
  • Skilled in interpreting business measurement/reporting needs.
  • 2-3 years of consulting or client management experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools such as Python, R, or similar for modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with A/B testing, causal inference techniques, and marketing measurement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating insights into business and marketing optimization recommendations.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Amplitude is a plus.
  • Curious, self-directed, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or a degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Additional Information 

  • Employment type: Long-term full-time role.
    Salary: $90,000 - $120,000.
    Location: Prefer candidates located in Minneapolis or Kansas City. Occasionally, visiting the offices in Minneapolis or Kansas City might be required. If remote, preferred locations include: San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, or Denver.
    Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
