About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on SFCC Solution Architect with deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to drive the design and development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions as part of a large-scale Order Servicing Requirements initiative within an enterprise application ecosystem. This role combines architectural ownership with active, hands-on development and team leadership. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Own architecture and integration strategy for order servicing workflows, including integrations with OMS, ERP, fulfillment, and customer service platforms.
  • Serve as the technical lead for a distributed team (onsite and offshore), overseeing development activities, code quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide hands-on development using SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture) and related frameworks.
  • Design and implement integrations using SCAPI, RESTful APIs, and composable commerce architectures.
  • Define and enforce best practices, development standards, and architecture guidelines across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance, scalability, security, and reliability of the platform.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to elevate technical capability and ownership.


Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in technical roles with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) architecture and development.
  • Proven experience with Progressive Web App (PWA) Kit Architecture is a must. 
  • Proven experience leading and managing onsite and offshore technical teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture).
  • Knowledge of SCAPI for integrations and order servicing use cases within enterprise and composable commerce environments.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, integrations, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (B2C Commerce Architect, B2C Developer, etc.) are highly desirable. 
  • Experience integrating SFCC with external systems such as OMS, ERP, or marketing automation tools.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
