Project Manager

The Project Manager will work with IT, business, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with organizational goals, maintain effective communication, and stay on track. This role involves providing guidance and support to team members, facilitating meetings, and managing project activities such as scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project teams within IT, business, and cross-functional teams: Help teams align on milestones and goals, ensure effective communication and keep projects on track.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery
- Facilitate meetings and working sessions with IT and app teams
- Help teams develop and manage project activities, including but not limited to: Scope, timelines, budgets, resources.
- Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
- Develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
- Ensure program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
- Ensure program activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards
- Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization
- Supervise program staff by providing direction, input, and feedback
- Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase efficiency
- Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures
- Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve successful program outcomes
- Develop a program evaluation framework to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
- Interview and select well-qualified program staff
- Establish and implement a performance management process for all program staff
- Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards
- Monitor cash flow projections and manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
- Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
- Develop funding proposals to ensure the continuous delivery of services
- Implement human resources policies, procedures, and practices of the organization
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support and solicit input for program improvements
- Ensure financial reports and supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in funding agreements
- Identify and evaluate risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within IT, business, or cross-functional environments.
- Strong project management skills, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource management.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills for working with diverse teams.
- Ability to provide effective guidance and support to team members.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience deploying monitoring tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
Job Specifications
- Employment type: Contract (C2C or W2 hourly)
- Salary range: $80 - $90/hr
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
